Uttar Pradesh: Every tenth term in government jobs to poor, 10% reservation roster released

Lucknow, August 19: Extending a helping to the poor, Uttar Pradesh has leveled up reservation quota to 60 percent, so now every tenth term will be given to a poor. Personnel Section 2 has issued the mandate in this regard.


 

In fact, for economically weaker sections, a roster of 10% reservation has been issued for recruitment in all categories of government jobs and admission in educational institutions. With this, the total quota of reservation for SC-ST, OBC and economically weaker sections has been 60 percent.

After the roster is released, every tenth position will now be for the poor. Now 23 percent will be given to SC-ST category in government jobs and educational institutions, 27 percent to OBC and 10 percent and 40 percent posts will be given to general category for poor.

10 posts will be filled from economically weaker section and 40 from general category. Every tenth term in the roster is reserved for the economically weaker section. That is, the posts of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 and 100 are certain to be filled with this category.
