New Delhi, August 20: “When a new session of Parliament begins, newer MPs face lot of trouble as far as finding accommodation is concerned. I am glad efforts have been made to overcome this problem”, said PM Narendra Modi while inaugurating the new parliamentarian complex in New Delhi on Monday.

“Some of the Bhavans do not have good infrastructure and I am told work is being done to upgrade infrastructure there as well. This is a welcome sign”, he said adding that the said housing facility had been completed within the decided time frame and the quality was also good.
Extolling the MPs for great parliamentarian session they had together, PM Modi said that this time, there was a view that our Parliamentary complex must get a facelift in terms of facilities. The presiding officers, MPs and friends from media stressed on it too.

“When we mark 75 years of Independence in 2022, the Parliamentary complex must showcase that grandeur and in line with what so many have expressed, the Government is open to taking all possible steps to give Parliament the facelift it deserves”, he signed off.
