New Delhi, August 21: Two times twice after CBI searching for the INX Media case accused P Chidambaram, who was probably rejected the anticipatory bail by Delhi High Court yesterday, the Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday has issued a look out notice for the Congress leader and former Finance Minister.

The court while rejecting the bail had said that the bail could not be granted because the facts of the case prima facie revealed that the petitioner was the kingpin and that he was the key conspirator in this case.

The senior consultant lawyer, Kapil Sibal, defending Chidambaram in the case meanwhile failed to mention his urgent listing for his plea before CJI, as the five judged Constitution bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi, commenced day-to-day hearing on Ayodhya case.

In his petition, Chidambaram had told the Supreme Court to take up his case for interim relief urgently, arguing that his antecedents are impeccable and there was no possibility of him fleeing from justice. Requesting more time to appear before the CBI, the former finance minister had asked for interim relief or else he would suffer irreparable loss.

After no immediate relief was provided to the Congress leader at the Supreme Court, as it heard his request for protection from arrest in the INX Media case, senior advocate and Congress leader Salman Khurshid supported the one walking on the paths of Vijay Mallya, flagrantly saying that the entire incident was very sad and regretful. He also imposed faith in the rule of law and added that nobody was running away and the law would take its course.
