New Delhi, August 29: Waking up in a strong alarm, Japan on Thursday observed a 6.1 magnitude earthquake pulling a couple of people to the valley of death and injuring minimum as of now.

 
 
"Earthquake of Magnitude 6.1, occurred on 29-08-2019, 05:16:37 IST, Lat:41.1 N & Long: 142.9 E, Depth: 10 Km, Region: Hokkaido, Japan Region," IMD Earthquake tweeted.
Strucking at a depth of about 10 kilometres, an early warning alarm system was however triggered in the provincial capital about one minute before the earthquake.
 
The Ministry of Emergency Management in Japan however has activated an emergency response and sent a work team to the stricken areas to provide guidance in rescue and disaster relief.
