‘No Comments’! Adding more colors to drama, UNSC chief denies reacting on Pak letter on #370

United Nations, Aug. 9: The removal of Article 370 becomes a new platform for new International drama between Pakistan and India. India is stalwartly standing on its own stand on scrapping of 370; as Pakistan refused India's stand and run to the UN for seeking help on this matter.
This international drama is taking new twists and turns with every new morning. Now, adding some more colors in this drama on Thursday, UN Security Council President Joanna Wronecka refused to comment on Pakistan’s letter to global body concerning about abrogation of Article 370 which deals with special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
During the press briefing, Ms. Wronecka said “No Comments”, said when asked for a reaction on this matter.
Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had written to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres claiming abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir violated the UNSC resolution.
Earlier, Mr. Guterres appealed to both India and Pakistan to exercise "maximum restraint" and said he has been following the situation in Jammu and Kashmir after India passed a resolution to revoke Article 370 and a bill bifurcating Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories.
Shaken up by New Delhi’s powerful move, Islamabad "rejected" the move and said it will exercise "all possible options" to counter the steps.
Pakistan on Wednesday decided to unilaterally downgrade bilateral ties with India and suspend all bilateral trade activities in the aftermath of the scrapping of special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
For its part, New Delhi asked Islamabad to review its decision so that normal channels for diplomatic communications are preserved while strictly maintaining that its steps in Jammu and Kashmir are an "entirely internal affair".
The international community has urged both countries to exercise restraint and ensure that peace and stability prevail across the Line of Control (LoC).
