Madhya Pradesh: BJP launches Ghantanaad protest to wake up Kumbhakarni slept Congress govt

Bhopal, September 11: The Congressi Madhya Pradesh government is in deep Kumbhkaran sleep, and it is ignoring the welfare of the state. In order to draw the government on right track, the Madhya Pradesh unit of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on today held a statewide protest against Chief Minister Kamal Nath-led Congress government in the state. The protest was held to get justice for the public of Madhya Pradesh.


 

BJP state president Rakesh Singh led the agitation in Bhopal and said that the Congress has put the government welfare initiatives totally on back-burner. He said that the agitation has been taken up to wake the Congress government up and warned that if it did not wake up, the BJP would intensify protests for the people.

"The loans of the farmers have not been waived off in the state. There is no unemployment allowance for the youths of the state while electricity rates continue to be very high," he added.

 

Singh further said the state was earlier identified by its good roads while now the condition of the roads has degraded. He also said that the law and order situation is in doldrums in the state.

Former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also joined the protest at Vidisha while Leader of Opposition in the MP Assembly Gopal Bhargava joined in the protest at Jabalpur.
