PM Modi praises film fraternity for spreading awareness on single use plastic

New Delhi, September 12: In pursuit of the challenge of making India free of single-use plastic, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today praised the efforts taken by film industry to spread awareness on the menace of single-use plastic through spectacular gestures.

 

In response to Varun Dhawan's tweet about banning plastic bottles on sets by ‘Coolie No 1’ team, PM Modi had words of encouragement. Earlier this month, Varun Dhawan said that the cast and crew of Coolie No 1 have their own steel bottles to use on sets.
