Next in order by Japan visit, Rajnath Singh visits Hamamatsu Air Base, spending some time checking out Kawasaki trainer plane

Tokyo, September 03: Waking ahead in the second day of the crucial visit to Japan, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today visited Hamamatsu Air Base, briefing about the functioning of F-15 fighter aircraft and Kawasaki Trainer plane.
 
"At the Hamamatsu Airbase in Japan, I had a good look at the functioning of F-15 and also spent some time checking out the trainer plane", Singh tweeted.  

 
Rajnath Singh on Monday met his counterpart Takeshi Iwaya in Tokyo, discussing the Kashmir matter at edge. India has told Japan that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India and withdrawal of Article 370 benefits locals, while making it clear that Pakistan has no say in the matter.
“The defence minister discussed abrogation of Article 370 and said talks and cross-border terrorism originating from Pakistan cannot go together", defence ministry statement.
Further attaching hoghest priority to the bilateral relationship with Japan, Singh also met Japanese PM Shinzo Abe. "Premier Mr Abe Shinzo’s regular interactions with India’s PM Modi have put the Special, Strategic and Global partnership between India-Japan on to an even higher pedestal. It has added a new strategic depth to our defence cooperation", he had said post meeting.
