New Delhi, September 04: A day after arresting DK Shivakumar in a case of money laundering, the Enforcement Directorate on Wednesday in a court in New Delhi sought 14-day police custody of the Karnataka Congress member D K Shivakumar, revealing incriminating evidence against Shivakumar.

 
Presenting its case against Abhishek Singvi, and beating the defence by solid evidences, Enforcement Directorate said that custodial interrogation of DK Shivakumar was required and that the investigation was in progress and at a crucial stage.
 
"We want custodial interrogation to confront him with the documents. DK Shivakumar gave evasive replies, remained non-cooperative during the investigation. There is reason to believe the accused is guilty of laundering", ED said producing the actual attestations.
 
Singhvi, appearing for Congress leader DK Shivkumar has however moved a bail application over ED seeking his 14 days custody. The agency on Teusday had arrested Karnataka Congress leader and the party trouble shooter who was being investigated in a case of alleged money laundering.
