Personal chemistry underlining strong partnership! President Putin confers Russia's highest civilian award to PM Modi

New Delhi, September 04: Moving ahead on the first day of PM Modi’s visit to Russia for the Eastern Economic Forum, India has shown up great respect on the occasion to give a new dimension to the support between the two countries. Directing the delegation level talks between the PM Modi and President Vladimir Putin in Vladivostok, Russia has moved up announcing the highest civilian award to PM Modi on Wednesday.

 
 
“I express my gratitude to you and people of Russia. This demonstrates the friendly relations between the people of our two countries. It's a matter of honour for the 1.3 billion Indians”, said overwhelmed Prime Minister Modi while addressing the forum.
Singing more and more gloried of the bilateral relations with Russia, PM said that Russia is an integral friend and trustworthy partner of India. “You've personally focussed on expanding our special and privileged strategic partnership. As two integral friends, wé’ve met regularly. I've spoken to you over telephone on several issues and I've never felt any hesitation”, he added.
 
Later the day, PM Modi and President Putin visited the Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex expanding newer areas of collaboration such as shipbuilding and offering opportunities for diversifying the strong India-Russia economic ties. India-Russia relationship goes beyond relations between two capitals and are now at the cusp of expanding to new frontiers.
