‘Meri Dilli, Mera Sujhav’: Smriti Irani launches campaign to obtain public opinions for BJP manifesto

New Delhi, January 3: Union Minister and Senior BJP leader Smriti Irani today launched ‘Meri Dilli, Mera Sujhav’ Campaign with a view to gather suggestions from the people of the national capital for formulation of party's manifesto for the forthcoming Assembly polls in Delhi.

Smriti Irani launched the campaign at the Delhi BJP office along with Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari, election co-incharge and Union Minister Nityanand Rai, and election committee convener Tarun Chugh.
 
 
The campaign will be run for the next 14 days in which 49 ‘video raths will roam all 70 Assembly Constituencies for this purpose. The BJP will also keep around 1,600 special boxes across the city to gather suggestions. Irani also launched a website and mobile number 6357171717 on which people can record their suggestions.
Legislative Assembly elections will be held in Delhi in February 2020 to elect 70 members of the Delhi Legislative Assembly. The term of current assembly elected in 2015 will expire on 22 February 2020. The BJP may announce its chief ministerial face for the Delhi Assembly polls in the first week of January.
