Refurbishing face of J&K: JK Global Investors Summit releases logo with tagline ‘Explore, Invest, Grow’

Srinagar, January 8: August 5, the day which changed the course of action for Jammu and Kashmir with scrapping the special status given to the state aligning it with the rest of India. Promising to refurbish the pattern of employment by slating progressive growth and development, Commissioner Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi on Tuesday unveiled the logo of first-ever JK Global Investors Summit with the tagline ‘Explore, Invest, Grow’ here at Udhyog Bhawan.

The JK Global Investors Summit is scheduled to be held in the month of April 2020 with the event focusing on attracting investment in potential sectors like Agriculture, Horticulture, Food Processing, Film Industry, Tourism, handicrafts, healthcare etc from leading national and global companies to boost the economy and create employment opportunities in J&K.

Unveiling the logo and tagline of the Summit, Manoj Kumar Dwivedi said that the logo depicts a mix of manufacturing and service sector potential in J&K as well as manpower skills, agro and horticulture potential. Receiving more than 1000 entries, the logo and tagline have been finalized through a contest on citizen engagement portal www.mygov.in. Among the entries, the logo made by Dilip K and tag line created by Rajneesh Singh was selected, who were given a prize of Rs. 15000 and Rs. 5000, respectively.

 

Highlighting the importance of the event, Dwivedi said that Global Investors Summit, being held in J&K for the first time, is of great significance as it will witness participation of several senior policy makers, development agencies and investors from across the world. “We are looking forward to meet and interact with investors, MNCs, BIG Corporate Houses and invite them to explore and expand their business in the region. We have also worked on policies favourable for establishing a business to offer ease in doing business in true spirit”, he added.
