E-cabinet meeting begins in Uttarakhand, grant for Kailash Mansarovar travelers doubled

Dehradun, January 9: In the first e-cabinet meeting of the Uttarakhand government, the local residents of Uttarakhand, who are going on the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, were given a gift. The government has doubled the grant amount given to them. Earlier, a grant of 25 thousand rupees was given to the passengers of Uttarakhand, which has been approved by the cabinet to 50 thousand rupees. Apart from this, the government has made arrangements to construct previously acquired buildings in Kedarpuri with CSR as well as other items.

On Wednesday, a cabinet meeting was held at the secretariat headed by Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. Giving information about the decisions of the cabinet, government spokesperson Madan Kaushik said that there was a discussion to increase the grant for the pilgrims going to Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. In fact, last year in the House, the government had said to double this grant amount. Now a year later it has been materialized through the cabinet. The cabinet has also revised the standard of buildings to be built in Kedarpuri. Earlier there was a system of building the buildings acquired hereunder Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Now it has been amended that these buildings can be constructed under the state government or other arrangements of the state government.

In view of the vacant posts of teachers in government colleges, the cabinet has decided to give the right to fill these posts under the visiting faculty to the principal of the respective colleges until new appointments are made. It has been clarified that the candidates have to meet the UGC standards. The cabinet has decided to extend its benefits to all members of the cooperative societies along with scheduled castes and general women in the cow-ganga-dairy scheme being run through the Department of Dairy Development under Cooperation. Women will be given priority in this. Apart from this, the cabinet recently approved the cane price announced by the government i.e. 327 for agate and Rs 317 per quintal for late species. Also approved the prorogation of the assembly.

Other cabinet decisions

- Kailash Mansarovar Yatra now has a grant of 50 thousand instead of 25.

Under the Dairy Development Department, all members of the cooperative benefit of the Ganga-Cow-Dairy scheme, priority to women.

According to the UGC standards in government colleges, the principal was given the right to fill the vacant posts on the basis of visiting faculty.

Now in Kedarpuri, apart from CSR, the state government and other arrangements of the government will enable the construction of buildings.
