Guwahati, Oct 13: “India will become a developed nation by attaining self-sufficiency with strict control over the population! The dream of becoming a “Vishwaguru” will also be fulfilled,” said Dr. Indresh Kumar, National Executive Member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the Chief Patron of the Jansankhya Samadhan Foundation on Sunday.

Addressing thousands of activists from 22 states across the country in a webinar organized by the Jansankhya Samadhan Foundation through Facebook Live on October 11, Dr. Indresh Kumar said that the problems of unemployment, poverty, hunger, and malnutrition in the country are due to fast increasing population.

He suggested that in order to solve this issue of population explosion, it is necessary for all citizens of the country to apply population law uniformly above caste, religion, region, and language.

Dr. Indresh further said that the corona pandemic has proved that such a huge population has proved to be a formidable challenge before India. India bears the weight of about 18% of the world's population, while its proportion of land is very low i.e. around 2.4% and water is 4%.

Encouraging all the activists of Jansankhya Samadhan Foundation, Dr. Indresh Kumar said that on the occasion of World Population Day on July 11 at the time of the epidemic, activists of 162 district headquarters across the country have sent a population memorandum to the Prime Minister through the District Magistrates concerned, is admirable.

He congratulated all the JSF workers from Jammu, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, West Bengal, Assam, Tripura, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, and remote Kerala for sending memoranda and letters directly to the Prime Minister, Home Minister, Law Minister and BJP national president JP Nadda from 140 districts across the nation.

He further said that the solution to the crisis created by the expansionist thinking of China and Pakistan is the solidarity and solidarity of all citizens. The entire country stands with the army and India's army is capable of facing any threat. After the Corona crisis, teams will be going all over the country, and in this sequence; meetings would be organized in hundreds of districts of almost all the states, he mentioned.

Speaking on the internal situation of the country, Dr. Indresh Kumar said that the deepening roots of religion and casteism are dangerous for the country. India has to become a united India and Hindu culture has to make way for the world, then one has to rise above religion and casteism. A culture that finds Shri Ram in every particle has to end disharmony, he said.

Following the Facebook live session by Dr. Indresh Kumar, a meeting was held among the members of the Jansankhya Samadhan Foundation, Northeast, and Assam Chapter at Assam Prakashan Bharati Bhawan in Guwahati. Sailendra Pandey, Chairman of JSF Northeast chapter introduced JSF and the importance of population law for the country, a press release said.
