Washington DC, October 09: Ahead of POTUS election 2020, US President Donald Trump hit out on his poll rivals Democratic Party's vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris saying, "She's a communist, and she would replace Joe Biden as president within a month if he were elected."

While giving an interview on the News channel, he said "I thought that wasn't even a contest last night. She was terrible. I don't think you could get worse. And unlikable. She's a communist. We're going to have a communist (as president)? She's going to be (president), in my opinion, within a month. Look, I sit next to Joe and I looked at Joe. Joe's not lasting two months as president. He also called her a "monster" and a "communist".

"She is a Communist. She's not a Socialist. She's well beyond a socialist. Take a look at her views. She wants to open up the borders to allow killers and murderers and rapists to pour into our country," Trump said.

Trump's remark came after Pence and Kamla came face to face in the vice presidential debate on Wednesday, which saw sparring over Trump's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, jobs, China, racial tensions, and climate change. Pence and Harris conducted themselves with relative courtesy during the debate and the vice president, whose style is the opposite of Trump, avoided personal attacks on his rival. Moreover, During the debate, Pence tried to link to Harris to the radical left-wing of the party leading to her disowning her previous support for that group's Green New Deal manifesto that she had sponsored.

Furthermore while talking about the debate, Trump called her performance at the debate "terrible" and said she was "nasty".

Hours later, Biden slammed Trump for his remarks, saying the American people are sick and tired of it. "It's despicable, so beneath the office of the presidency and the American people are sick and tired of it. They know who this man is, it's got to stop.

"She is a Communist. She's not a Socialist. She's well beyond a socialist. Take a look at her views. She wants to open up the borders to allow killers and murderers and rapists to pour into our country," Trump said.

Moreover, Trump declared that he would not engage in a virtual debate against Democratic nominee Joe Biden, calling the process a waste of his time. He also claimed that he was looking forward to holding future rallies ― despite multiple members of his inner circle testing positive for COVID-19 last week due to his events. US President Donald Trump said that he would resume campaigning on October 10 in Florida, followed by another reelection rally in Pennsylvania the night.
