New Delhi, Dec 8: While the entire nation was live to the nation-wide strike of the agitating farmers on Tuesday, the echoes of this agitation were heard in the far off lands of the USA, Canada, Australia, and some other countries where there is sizeable number of Sikh population.

Does this large scale participation of Sikh and other left-liberal organizations in these protest meetings indicate to some conspicuous conspiracy against the Modi government in India?

farmer_1  H x WThe Prime Minister of Canada Justin Truedeu has already extended support to the Indian farmers’ agitation. However, the government of India took a strong exception to this ‘interference of a foreign country into our sovereign affairs’ and reprimanded the Canadian envoy. India also declined to participate in a meeting on covid-19 convened by Canada as mark of protest.

However, Sikhs in Canada along with the Left-Liberals there took to streets in various cities like Montreal, Edmonton to register their solidarity with agitating Indian farmers and to denounce the Narendra Modi government for its ‘anti-farmer- policies.

In the protest at Montreal over 60 people participated holding placards amd shouting slogans in support of the farmers. The program was led by one Gurpreet S Sahota, Editor of Charhdi Kala & Akal Guardian Punjabi.

The protest program at Edmonton held on December 5 saw participation of 40 persons with hashtags like ##FarmersinIndia, #SaveIndiaFarmers, #Repeal FarmersBill, #ModiAgainstFarmers, #ModiKisanVirodhiHain.

In the USA over 300 people gathered at Bellevue Library in Seatle WA. Even small children were being involved to invite attention. They carried placards displaying slogans like ‘Kisan Majdoor Ekata Jindabad, Kisan Rally etc.

Important person present was Faisal and Inayat Dhillon photographed the event.

At another program at Sanfrancisco, Bay Area, Northern California near Oakland a car rally was organized in which 120 cars participated. This program was organized by California Sikh Youth Alliance which is a pro-Khalistan Orgnization.

At Los Angeles a protest was organized on December 7. Over 60 people gathered with sloganeering and songs in the background. The Hindus for Human Rights group organized a protest on December 6 at Grove 2, Mewril Park, Iselin, and New Jeresy where 6 people participated. Co-founder of the group Deepak led the protests.

At Federation Square, Melbourne in Australia over 80 people gathered to show their support to the Indian farmers for their demands to repeal the three farm laws enacted by the Modi government.

They showed placards, shouted slogans and gave speeches from the stage. The entire event was live streamed for one hour.

At another protest held on December 5 at King George Square, Brisbane, City Hall, Australia over 300 participated shouting slogans and exhibiting placards in support of the farmers.

This widespread protest outside India clearly indicate to a larger conspiracy hatched by the anti-India forces like the Khalistani, the ultra Maoists and Naxalites to destabilize the Narendra Modi government and break India.

farmer_1  H x WThe presence of such elements in the agitation launched by the farmers, most of whom came from Punjab state, also indicate to a strong link and undercurrent with these elements.

The non-BJP parties in India are also supportingn this agitation to gain their lost political turf. They are the ones who supported these bills in the parliament and now opposing them outside thereby betraying the farmers.

Therefore, the government must take extra caution to see that the farmers’ agitation is not hijacked by these anti-India elements and the frustrated political leaders like Rahul Gandhi and his ilk in the left and secular brigade.
