Over 400 intellectuals appeal to Delhi voters to ensure 100% voting in national interest

Polling for Delhi Assembly elections will be held on February 8 and counting of votes will e taken up on February 11.

Higher education during the last five years has suffered an irreparable loss. Stoppage of funding to colleges by the Delhi Government has caused great pains to the entire community. Almost all the 28 Delhi Govt Colleges in DU were established by the BJP. Not a single college had been established by the AAP during the last 5yrs.

Pointing to the consistent failures of the AAP government these intellectuals also appealed to the voters of the National Capital to vote in favor of the BJP looking at the praiseworthy declarations by the BJP in its ‘Sankalpa Patra’ and the past performance of the BJP governments in the past.

Nationalist ideology, providing educational and health facilities to girls and socially & economically backward classes, increasing employment opportunities and financial help in marriages of poor girls shall be very beneficial to Delhi citizens.

BJP has assured under "Beti Bachao, Beti Padao" a financial help of Rs 2 lakh to first two daughters of poor families at reaching 21 years of age; also Kanyadaan of Rs 51000 on the marriage of poor girls. These provisions in BJP's Sankalp Patra establish its genuine empathy for poor people. To encourage poor girls towards education a bicycle to school girls and a Scooty to college-going girls is also included in the Sankalp Patra. Kejriwal had assured 20 new colleges and 500 new schools in 2015 but not a single such institute had been established by his govt. BJP has assured 10 new colleges and 200 new schools. Modern libraries have also been assured for students in every ward.

Contract employees have been assured a job guarantee. Kejriwal had deceived guest school teachers of Delhi. They shall teach him a lesson in the elections.

Under ‘Fit India’ and ‘Khelo India’ Projects the BJP has assured a new Sports Policy. It shall benefit youth to progress in the field.

They support the BJP's declaration to provide clean water and air to Delhi. These had become impossibility under the callous regime of Kejriwal. BJP has also assured the establishment of a Development Board for the unauthorized colonies. It has also assured Rs 2 per kilo flour to poor people. The Sankalp Patra of BJP is a categorical commitment to improving the lives of socially and economically backward citizens, to increase their educational facilities.
