It inspires you with hope, joy and a new life, and stir you on to find out the good and the evil well. While awarding these well said and these very well known facts, why don't we think of putting behind the evilness inside us to be a better person this holi?

Here is the point. The festival holi, where people become carefree and play with colors, is again to be noted celebration of unadulterated play that unfortunately we only see in innocent children today. Ever thought why? There is this kind of abandonment in our real life. By real life society shall consider here completely, bare selves at least in front of closed ones and not pretend to be like that in the outer world.

When we are surrounded by our closed ones, we unknowingly tend to lose all our self-consciousness which most of the Gen-Y and Gen-Z today have problem to cater to. And abandonment here means succeeding, that again portrays the meter of our actual happiness, where there is nothing to worry about winning or losing, nothing to worry about what others will think of us and more!

Isn't Holi the one that pokes us to take ourselves less seriously? The colours teach us to happily smear shades, to enjoy casting colourful complextions on each other without any concern for what others might think of us. While we, as adults continue to strive for these little happy moments to texture our lives, innocent children don't seem to struggle because they simply play, catering to their innocence. Holi reminds people to loosen up and play without purpose, further adding up to the spiritual significance of the gala.

Colours bring liveliness. They act as catalysts to feed the brain with happy stimulants. What if we apply these colours easy in our daily life? Wouldn't the world be a much happier place? The amount of seriousness and overthinking people carry, especially Gen-Y in this competitive world seems to have completely changed the meaning of life. Life has unnecessarily been filled with negation, frustration and anger, etc. Well, the carnival of colours is here to help us to throw all these unwanted emotions in the holy smoke. Let's serve these distinct colors of good times, bad times, problems, challenges, happiness, success and failure together and enjoy life with full energy and that with the surplus enthusiasm!
