New Delhi, March 17: British actor Idris Elba said he had tested positive for the new coronavirus, joining Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, among the first major celebrities to contract the respiratory disease. The actor-writer is best known for starring in The Wire, Luther, and Avengers: Infinity War. Taking to Twitter on Monday, the British actor said, "This morning I tested positive for Covid 19. I feel ok, I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home people and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I'm doing. No panic," he added. Idris Elba in a video message said that his wife has not been tested yet but is feeling okay.
 
Also, Game of Thrones and The Fate of the Furious actor Kristofer Hivju also tested positive for coronavirus. Hivju is most famous for playing Tormund Giantsbane on the HBO series GoT. The COVID-19 virus that originated from Wuhan city in China has now reached every part of the world. While the outbreak has affected more than 182.725 people, it has killed over 7,174 people across the globe.
