The Pew survey says that 51 percent of the US adult population is flowing the news about the COVID-19 pandemic very closely while 38 percent of them follow it fairly closely. The news media are given high marks by the people for their coverage of the pandemic. However, most US citizens think that media coverage has somewhat exaggerated the risks.
