Today is Varsh Pratipada- the First Day of Hindu New Year. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm, and festivities all over the country and even abroad where there are Hindus. This day is also known as ‘Srushti Samvat’ i.e. the Day of creation of this universe. This day is also the birth anniversary of Dr. Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, founder of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, the largest organization of Hindus in the world.
Our country and the entire world is passing through a very trying period with the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic. The Prime Minister has appealed to the citizens to follow a 21-day lockdown and observe social distancing to defeat this viral invasion on our society.
The RSS Sarsanghchalak too has appealed to the society to follow the PM’s instructions and defeat this enemy of humanity.
Let us overcome this danger with our efforts and resolute action against the COVID-19.
