London March 27: British Prime Minister Boris Johnson tested positive for the corona virus on Friday. Noting to be the first prime minister in the world to test positive for the infection, he taking to the social media informed that he is in complete isolation and that he will continue to lead the government's response through video conference.

He announced the news about his diagnosis on Twitter. He wrote, "Over the last 24 hours, I have developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus. I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus".
Meanwhile, hoping for Johnson's healthy and speedy recoery, PM Narendra Modi took to twitter saying that British PM is a fighter and he will overcome this challenge as well. "Prayers for your good health and best wishes in ensuring a healthy UK", he said.  
 
Downing Street spokesperson noted, “After experiencing mild symptoms yesterday, the Prime Minister was tested for coronavirus on the personal advice of England’s Chief Medical Officer, Professor Chris Whitty." “The test was carried out in No 10 by NHS staff and the result of the test was positive. In keeping with the guidance, the Prime Minister is self-isolating in Downing Street. He is continuing to lead the government’s response to coronavirus.” he further added.
 
However, on Monday the down street had announced that the Foreign Minster Dominic Raab will take the charge of the UK Government if Prime Minister falls seriously ill. Earlier, heir to the British Throne, Prince Charles of Wales also tested positive for the virus. He is now in self-isolation in Scotland.
