New Delhi, March 28: Waking ahead in the fourth day of the 21 day lockdown, Health Ministry on Saturday declared that 78 patients in India who were suffering from the deadly corona virus had cured and that they were discharged to isolation after prescribing proper medication by the hospitals.

"Out of 873 total, 78 patients have been discharged. The doctors and other medical staff are diligent at serving the patients. Winning the war against Corona is our priority now", he said urging people to break the fear psychosis towards them. "The warriors of this fight are our Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics, but some people are creating an atmosphere of social discrimination and Fear Psychosis towards them, which is sad", he added.
 
The number of COVID-19 cases climbed to 873 in India on Saturday with the death toll rising to 19", the statement by Helath Ministry read. In its updated figures at 9.30 am, the ministry also mentioned two fresh deaths one each in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
 
The rise came even as the country is in the midst of a 21-day lockdown announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to curb the spread of the infection. Thus, deaths due to COVID-19 have so far been reported from Maharashtra (5), Gujarat (3), Karnataka (2), Madhya Pradesh (2) and one each from Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Punjab, Delhi, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh.
