This is what you call destiny! Tomorrow on International Women's Day, carrying a billion dreams of our nation, Indian Women are going to play their maiden final of World Cup. They are just one step away from lifting that trophy.

The way they have played, helping each other and has filled the gaps is something we might have witnessed for the first time. In each game, there was someone who shined. For e.g Poonam Yadav magical spell against the defending champions, Australia or Radha Yadav getting the right opportunity at the right time and, of course, those gigantic shots played by my favorite Shafali Verma. She has been an inspiration to so many young girls. And all those cameos played by everyone in the death overs.

People telling that they were lucky enough or it was not fair to enter into the finals because their match was abandoned due to rain against England, just want to remind the reason they entered into finals was- "they won all their four matches and topped the Group A" unlike England.

Today is the birthday of Indian skipper Harmanpreet Kaur. When asked about what she wanted as present on her birthday, it was obvious- The World Cup trophy.

It is the approach and effort which should be appreciated because this Indian team is very young. Believe it or not- the average of their age is just 22.8 years. And talk about the experience they have at the international level except for 2 or 3 batters they have not much. So many young players in this team is something we should look up to.

Kaur stated, “Hopefully, like we got in the 2017 World Cup final, we’ll get the same support from the country for women’s cricket.” Let's support by watching the match tomorrow and stand by them even if they lose. Even if they don't win, we will still cherish their journey till now.
