Rohit Sharma to turn into brand ambassdor of Dubai-based cricket academy

Dubai, April 17: India's hitman, Rohit Sharma has been revealed to turn into the brand ambassador of 'CricKingdom', a Dubai-based cricket academy based. The academy will also serve the coaching through digital platforms due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

The online platforms of CricKingdom "will connect students, coaches, academies, and facilities into an integrated ecosystem'. However, it will not only provide in the booking of coaches, ground/nets but will also handle the management of academies.
 
"CricKingdom seeks to merge the time-tested theories that have produced legends in the game along with modern scientific training methodologies," Rohit was quoted as saying in the press release.
 
"The vision is far-sighted and it seeks to make every aspect professional and structured," he further added, who is also being proposed to be a Director.
 
There are almost 20 coaches affiliated with this venture and most of them have worked at the grassroots and junior level. The prominent names include Pradeep Ingale, Parag Madkaikar, Subhash Ranjane, and Prathamesh Salunkhe. The academy also has Mumbai medium seamer, Dhawal Kulkarni, as one of its mentors.
 
The coaching on offer is for four categories - from 5-8 years, 8-13 years, 13 years and above and club and elite level cricketers.
