High in its Singham style today, the Mumbai Police on Monday interrogated Republic TV editor-in-chief Arnab Goswami for over 10 ten hours at the N M Joshi Marg station, questioning him over his comments wherein he criticised Sonia Gandhi’s silence over the lynching of sadhus in Palghar. Also the the two individuals arrested on charges of attacking Arnab and his wife have been granted bail by the Bhoiwada Court.

The arrangement of events and some missing actions, obviously by that of the Uddhav Thackrey led government and the police are crating a mind chaos, diffrentiating between what has actually happened and what should have had happened. Lets have a look at some of these incidents in series descendingly.

First, Arnab Goswami's 12 hrs of interrogation- Questioning by the police, the authority, though is an important part in the said case, 12 hrs of interrogation is a lot more than normal, isn't it? Is this the price a reputed journalist have to pay to speak the truth out? Well, the Uddhav Thackrey led MH government and the police personnel did not show its alertness in interrogating the accused in Palghar case. Painful as the event may have been, the Palghar mob lynching act where 2 Sadhus and a driver were put to death, was anything but a wake up call for the state. The police should have exhibited its alertness in the Palghar lynching case too, especially then, when there are no affirmative updates even after 12 days of the incident.

Two, Attack on Arnab Goswami- While some of the people (Congreesis and the so called liberals) note that the midnight attack on Republic TV anchor was fake and that Goswami did it to save himself from the FIRs filed against, should also speak up on why Yuva Congress's official twitter handle hailed 'Yuva Congress jindabad' just a couple of hours after the attack on Arnab and his wife. Also, now the two individuals arrested on charges of attacking have been granted bail by the Bhoiwada Court. Whom do you think is more struggling, Arnab Goswami or the silent Sonia Gandhi?

Three, Allegations on Sonia Gandhi and her silence- Silence speak up the biggest truth they say! Goswami had asked few questions (term allegations for liberals) to Sonia Gandhi (earlier Antonio Maino) regarding the Palghar case in his live TV show. It still is a fact to wonder that Gandhi has nothing to say, neither has she yet condemned thePalghar lynching incident. Well, if asking questions is what people term as 'insult' by Goswami towards lady Gandhi, she should speak up her part of truth to avoid any kind of unwanted speculations, especially now after the award wapsi gang has also condemned the act basing on the grounds of humanity at least.

Sonia Gandhi and her party forms the third wheel of the Maha-Aghadi sarkar in the state of Maharahstra and yet is silent on the Sadhu lynching. Arnab noted a fact that day as he said had any Muslim or a Christ been a victim, the picture would have been different totally. The administration has all but signalled to the Hindus in the State that their lives do not matter.

Further, this is all after Arnab is granted a three week protection from arrest by the Supreme Court for his so called criticism of Sonia Gandhi. No political background he has, does not belong to a rich family! Arnab Goswami, a simple man, simple life is notably a sign of true Indian. Single handedly exposing the Indian National Congress Party, Republic TV's editor in chief has forced Sonia Gandhi and her supporters to stay on the backfoot. Isn't this what we call the power of media?
