VHP America helps COVID-19 affected people

USA, Apr 9: When the United States of America is facing a stiff challenge and tough and trying times due to massive spread of COVID-19, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America (VHPA) has come forward with its helping hand in this difficult time.

The US, especially New York is emerging as the latest epicenter of COVID-19 where maximum deaths due to this virus were reported. It is in such times of the VHPA Seva has come forward to help the distressed people in that country.

According to an official VHPA release, the VHPA Seva in America has so far donated $5000 to food banks in New York and other states besides helping 200 plus stranded Indian students find hotel accommodation.

In addition to this, the VHPA Seva has distributed over 300 homemade masks, meals to healthcare workers at hospitals.

In partnership with Sewa International, the VHPA has organized collective prayers (OmTogether, AUMAcrossAmerica) with the global prayer group in which over 100 organizations participated, the VHPA release said.

The VHPA also appealed to people to donate for these service activities so that more needy people could be reached and served.
