When calamities befall, even a well-wisher becomes a cause of them. It is the leg of the mother that serves as the pillar for tying the calf.
There is no denying that the only unconditional love in one’s life comes from the mothers which are above from all the love we get on this Earth. It is an extraordinary relationship that is truly precious and priceless in terms of dedication and devotion towards her children. It is a mother’s love and care for her children that do not need any reason. People say that they want to become independent in their life whether it is mentally, emotionally or in any other way. However, it is impossible to become like that because we tend to forget the significance of the mother and how much we are dependent on her unless she is not there.
Having said that, we are not in any manner less dependent on the police, healthcare workers, Armed Forces who are defying danger in this ruthless battle against the coronavirus or COVID-19. It is in this time of all, where people are valuing their worth who are paying heavy cost by risking their own life. Let’s remember they are directly getting more exposed a several number of times than the people sitting at home. Away from their homes, from family, from the normal life and continuously pressing their service where the sword of virus is hanging over their neck all the time, those people are in true form acting as mothers in this chaos making them available for their people. Their responsibilities and duties are no different than any of the mothers in this world.
Mother who are truly warriors fighting for her family’s happiness and peace overcoming the hurdles whichever comes in her way. The same way the Corona warriors- healthcare workers, police, and Armed Forces are putting up the war against it. Yes, they do get salary but how many are willing to sacrifice their lives for others with limited resources available to protect themselves from the virus where the reports are surfacing that several of them are getting infected and few of them have even passed away while serving their own people. These people having been working ceaselessly without thinking twice to save one’s life while leaving their family behind and take the plunge.
It is a day which makes people remember the importance of mothers in their life and is observed as a day to give special emphasis to the motherly figures around the world. So, a big shout out to all the mothers who cannot stop their tears when they hold their babies for the first time in their arms! Who watches their kid perform and repeat to themselves "That's my child!!" who have work outside and inside around the clock! Who sacrifices her wishes to fulfill her children’s wishes! And also, a big shout to the Corona Warriors who have to work constantly without taking a break for hours! who are evacuating the stranded people to help them to come back home! who are reaching out to people and taking care of and assist them whenever the need arises!
Hope we remember all these sacrifices made by them even after this crisis ends!
