The railways had issued guidelines on Monday while asking the passengers to carry their own food and linen and arrive at stations at least 90 minutes before departure for a health screening. Installing the Aarogya Setu mobile application was mandatory for the passengers and only asymptomatic passengers will be allowed to board the trains.

Starting today, these trains run as special trains from New Delhi Station connecting Dibrugarh, Agartala, Howrah, Patna, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Secunderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Thiruvananthapuram, Madgaon, Mumbai Central, Ahmedabad and Jammu Tawi.

Only air-conditioned coaches are available. The passengers with confirmed e-tickets will be allowed to enter the stations as the trains will be running in the midst of the lockdown.

The fares of these trains will be equivalent to that of the Rajdhani trains and passengers can book tickets up to seven days in advance. It was stated previously, the tickets can only be booked online via the IRCTC website or through the Mobile App (https://www.irctc.co.in/). No booking tickets through agents of IRCTC or railways will not be accepted. Ticket counters at railway stations will not be opened either.
