Nirmala Sitharaman on Sunday slammed the Congress's Rahul Gandhi for executing a perfect drama over the migrant workers while she was announcing her final tranche on Rs 20 lakh crore economic package. This is after Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party is seen demeaning the measures taken by the government towards migrant workers.

"I want to ask Congress party, why is it not doing anything more for these migrant workers in the states ruled by them or where they have alliances. Make arrangements for more trains where you can, help them. Go walk with them, pick up their bags rather than sitting next to them and talking to them", she said Finance Minister also said that the Central government joined hands with various state governments to run special trains for the repatriation of
the migrant workers.

"We ensured that lakhs on migrant workers reach their native places, get food, essentials. Yet many are on the roads, walking back home, it is painful," Sitharaman said. Earlier, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was seen interacting with migrant workers in New Delhi. The migrants were reportedly walking back to their native homes when they decided to rest near the Sukhdev Vihar flyover on Mathura Road.
Several pictures and videos of him sitting alongside a group of nearly 14-15 migrants and talking to them about their ordeal before leaving went viral on social media. Well, this is not the first time when Nirmala Sitharaman clean bowled Rahul Gandhi. Here are some of the notable Nirmala vs Rahul Gandhi moments-

1. RBI's wilful list of defaulters-

The RBI had released a list of wilful defaulters in the month of April. Rahul Gandhi had then blatantly accused the Centre of not having included defaulter 'friends' of the BJP. It is on April 29 that Sitharaman had lashed out at Gandhi for saying the list of wilful defaulters released by the Reserve Bank of India was not presented in Parliament because it contained friends of the ruling party.

She said Gandhi was trying do nothing but mislead people in a brazen manner. “Shri @RahulGandhi MP (LS) and Shri @rssurjewala spokesperson of @INCIndia have attempted to mislead people in a brazen manner. Typical to @INCIndia, they resort to sensationalising facts by taking them out of context. In the following tweets wish to respond to the issues raised,” Sitharaman said in first of her 13 tweets then. “Today’s attempt of @INCIndia leaders is to mislead on wilful defaulters, bad loans & write-offs. Between 2009-10 & 2013-14, Scheduled Commercial Banks had written off Rs.145226.00 crores. Wished Shri @RahulGandhi consulted Dr. Manmohan Singh on what this writing-off was about,” she said in another tweet.

2. NYAY promise-

The Congress Party in the midst of the 2019 elections had proposed NYAY scheme reflecting Congress's flexible economic ideology. It had from nowhere promised Rs 6,000 per month of monetary aid to the farmers against the well analyased Rs 6000 per year promise by BJP. Questioning the NYAY scheme, Sitharaman said, "Congress had earlier projected garibi hatao and failed to deliver. They have not eradicated poverty yet. If Congress had done so, what is the need of NYAY?".
“The debate of Rs 6,000 per month promise of Congress and Rs 6,000 per year promise by BJP for farmers is like quoting the Rafale prices and comparing our rates with theirs", she had said. On Rahul Gandhi contesting polls from a second constituency – Wayanad in Kerala, the then Defence Minister had said, “He has clearly been a MP and if you have served the constituency well, then is there a need to look for second?”.

She also dismissed comparison of Prime Minister Narendra Modi contesting from two seats with that of Rahul Gandhi. “False equivalence is being created by comparing Rahul with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. When PM Modi contested from Varanasi, there was a question if he will not be accepted from anywhere else. But PM Modi proved them wrong," she said.

3. Rafale Deal-

The history of Indian polictics will remember Nirmala Sitharaman for exposing Congress's Rahul Gandhi and his political play over Rafale Deal case. The then Defence Minister while addressing the Loksabha had exposed RaGa for misleading the country with falsehood statements. RaGa had accused PM Modi of reducing the number of Rafale jets number 126 to 36 and said that the deal by Congress party was much more reliant.

"The Congress party during 2005-2013 was buying 18 ready to fly aircrafts, and 108 were anyway to be produced by HAL (would take 100 more years). Instead we bought 36 ready to fly aircrafts citing the demand of the Indian Airforce. We doubled their order of 18 to 36. The opposition need to understand that the Prime Minister din’t reduce the number from 126 to 36, he took 18 to 36 coming in this year, 2019.”, she said.
“In 2013 the government gave waivers to the public companies (HAL). The Standing Committee then was disappointed to know even after 3 decades that the ADA was unable able to develop a aircraft and meet the requirements of the airforce and now Congress was shedding crocodile tears when the government is reigned by the NDA. The UPA has given HAL extensions and waivers instead of investing in them. During 2005-2013, Congress government then did nothing for HAL. If at all they cared, they should have paid attention to the HAL problems and the investment issues.”, she added over roundly.

Sitharaman had also then forced RaGa to think over why Congress failed to give order of Helicopters to HAL instead of August Westland. The entire Rafale campaign is irresponsible and based on falsehood. Unparliamentarily words were use for PM. Even the Air force Chief was called a liar which is highly unacceptable. Rahul Gandhi had earlier said that he had approached the French President about disclosing the pact, to which he agreed. "The basic pricing of the aircrafts was disclosed in the house way back. However, the weaponries cost could not be disclosed, it being a secrecy pact under the IGA. Instead of misleading the house and the country, sn authenticated copy of facts should be tabled in the house", she alleged and pondered.
