Think India launches National E-Youth Parliament by 17-19 July

New Delhi, July 01: In order to celebrate the democracy of India, Think India Organisation has launched the very first National E-Youth Parliament between July 17 and 19. It is to bring the young Indian talent to understand the finer aspects of participative democracy that unfold within the Indian Parliament.
 
The aim of this event is to promote a spirit of debating and to understand the finer aspects of participative democracy that unfold within our Parliament, the statement read.

'Think India' is a pan India initiative of students from National Institutes like IITs, IIMs, NLUs and IISc, among others, aimed at developing a nationalistic spirit and inspiring young India to be of service to the society. It also aims to bring the best minds of the country and the leaders of tomorrow on one platform to discuss and deliberate upon issues of national importance. The registrations for the event have been opened.

The event will be conducted in a parliamentary format consisting of two houses and one All India Political Party Meet (AIPPM). The agenda of the committees are as follows:
 
  • Lok Sabha – Deliberation on cultural independence and renaming India as Bharat.

  • Rajya Sabha - Reforms in public health infrastructure.

  • All India Political Party Meet (AIPPM) – Deliberations on reforms in Panchayati Raj system
