New Delhi, July 16: "Those who are not happy with the outcome should remember that one exam doesn’t define who you are. Never lose hope, always look ahead. You will do wonders!," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said and encouraged his young friends as the CBSC board declared the results of class 10 and 12 CBSE students.

PM congratulated the students for clearing the class 10 and 12 CBSE board examinations. "Congratulations to all my young friends who have successfully passed their Class X and XII CBSE examinations. Wishing them the very best for their future endeavors."
 
 
PM Modi also said that each of the students is blessed with numerous talents. He advised them to never lose hope and always look ahead."For those who aren’t happy with their CBSE Class X and XII results, I want to tell them- one exam doesn’t define who you are. CBSE on Monday released results of class XII Board examinations, recording more than 5 percentage point increase in students who cleared the exams against last year. The results also recorded a sharp increase in the percentage point of students who scored above 90 percent. However, the number of students scoring above 90 percent and 95 percent have reduced this year by 3 percent and 1 percent
 
A total of 10.59 lakh (10,59,080) students cleared the class 12 exam with a pass percentage of 88.78 percent. The pass percentage improved from the last year. Gender-wise, girls have outperformed boys with 92.15 percent, while the pass percentage of boys was 86.19 percent. As many as 1,57,934 students scored over 90 percent marks, while 38,686 got more than 95 percent marks in CBSE class 12 results.
 
Divyanshi Jain, a 12th standard student from Lucknow scored a perfect 100 in English, Sanskrit, History, Geography, Insurance, and Economics. Meanwhile, the topper could not attempt the geography paper which got canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She says, "In the future, I would like to do research in history as a subject and learn more about our country's past."
