RSS pays homage to Jagdevram Oraon

In a condolence message both RSS Sarsanghchalak, Dr. Mohanrao Bhagwat, and Sarkaryawah Suresh alias Bhayyaji Joshi said that the passing away of the veteran leader came as a shock to all Sangh swayamsevaks and activists of Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram.

His association with the Kalyan Ashram and the Sangh began when he was a tender teenager and he has uncompromisingly devoted his entire life with a mission to serve the society until his very last breath, the RSS said.

Due to his soft-spoken demeanor and mature intellect, he commanded the respect of all karyakartas and emerged as their leader. He became the voice of Vanavasis through his steering of Kalyan Ashram.

Along with his responsibilities at Kalyan Ashram, his dedicated work expanded to make him grow like a Banyan Tree, as the custodian of the Karyakartas of Kalyan Ashram as well as in the consolidation of the ideological ethos of the Ashram.

Due to his sudden departure, his family members, Karyakartas of Kalyan Ashram and Swayamsevaks of the Sangh have lost the cool, sheltering shade of this Banyan like persona and are all equally grief-stricken, the statement said.

In this moment of great sorrow, we have to acknowledge that the onerous task that the late Jagdevram ji had been carrying on his entire life is still pending. And his sacred memory shall bestow upon us the patience, dedication, organizational capabilities required to carry forward that mission, Dr. Bhagwat and Bhayyaji Joshi said expressing their profound grief and sorrow and praying for ‘sadgati’ for the departed soul.
