PM Modi to deliver keynote address at India Ideas Summit today

New Delhi, July 22: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the keynote address at the India Ideas Summit today. The two-day Summit that began yesterday is being hosted by the US-India Business Council. He will provide perspective on how the US-India Partnership can shape the post-COVID world.

This year marks the 45th anniversary of the formation of the Council. The theme for this year’s India Ideas Summit is ‘Building a Better Future'.
 
The virtual Summit will take place to throw light on areas including India-US cooperation and the future of the relation between the two countries in a post-pandemic world. It will also feature "Indian and US government policymakers, state-level officials, and thought leaders from business and society".
 
Key speakers at the Summit include External Affairs Minister Dr. S Jaishankar, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Senator of Virginia and co-chair of Senate India Caucus Mr. Mark Warner, Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, among others.
 
Last year, USIBC hosted over 400 attendees for two days for its first India Ideas Summit in Washington. More than 50 dynamic speakers, 10 panels focused on trade and connectivity between the United States and India, and across the Indo-Pacific.
