Sacred soils being taken to Ayodhya for Ram Mandir foundation

New Delhi, July 25: As the preparations for the foundation laying ceremony of Sri Ram Mandir are going on in full swing, sacred soils from various locations in Delhi are being taken to Ayodhya to be used in the foundation of the grand temple.

Besides, the holy waters of various rivers across the country are also being sent to Ayodhya for the foundation laying ceremony to be organized on August 5 in presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other dignitaries.

Sacred soils were collected from 11 sites in Delhi and was dispatched to Ayodhya in brass pots on Friday.

On this occasion, Working President of VHP Alok Kumar and President of Delhi Pradesh Kapil Khanna were present at a special program organized at North Avenue Media Centre on Friday. Alok Kumar said that soils from various places from across the country are being sent to Ayodhya for the foundation ceremony.

On this occasion, Kapil Khanna gave the details of the service activities conducted by the VHP during the COVID-19 pandemic. He said that 20,720 food packets, 72550 cooked food packets, 61528 masks, 35000 sanitizer bottles to sanitation workers, sanitizer machines to police stations, 2000 face shields, milk to 10,000 families, tea to 15,000 families, 10000 PPE kits to six hospitals, sanitizer machines distributed at 1000 religious places, and sanitized Rakhis are prepared and given to women for selling.

Sacred soils from Siddha Kalka Peeth, Ancient Bhairav Mandir, Gurudwara Seesh Ganj, Gauri Shankar Mandir, Sri Digambar Jain Lal Mandir, Prachin Hanuman Mandir, Prachin Shiv Navagrah Mandir, Prachin KaliMata Mandir, Sri Lakshmi Narayan (Birla) Mandir, Bhagwan Valmiki Mandir, Badri Bhagat Jhandaewalan Mandir, Karol Bagh.

VHP Delhi Working President Vagish Issar and Zonal Organizing Secretary Mukesh Khandekar were prominently present on this occasion.
