It will be interesting to see one of India's biggest action star facing the challenges of the wild with Bear Grylls. This episode was shot in Karnataka's Bandipur Tiger Reserve in January 2020. The latest edition of Into The Wild With Bear Grylls is going to Premieres on the discovery channel at 8:00 pm on Sep 14.

After Rajinikanth and Indian PM Narendra Modi, Akshay becomes the third Indian to venture into the wilderness with popular show host Bear. Earlier in August, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a special appearance on an episode of Bear Grylls Man Vs Wild, when they made a trip to Uttarakhand's Jim Corbett National Park.
After completing the shooting Grylls took to his Twitter page praises the actor saying What a great guy - family man, with a kind heart and a will of steel!"
Akshay Kumar is a Taekwondo expert and often performs his stunts in films instead of opting for body doubles. In 2008, Akshay Kumar hosted a stunt-based reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi with celeb contestants. 'Into The Wild with Bear Grylls` is produced for Discovery Communications India by The Natural Studios and Banijay Asia, where Grylls, Delbert Shoopman and Deepak Dhar are executive producers.
