Bhagwat to address ‘Prakriti Vandan’ prog on Aug 30

New Delhi, Aug 24: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohanrao Bhagwat will be interacting online with lakhs of people on issues related to the environment, forest, water, and land conservation.

The program is being organized by the Hindu Spiritual and Service Foundation (HSSF) on August 30. The program is named as ‘Prakriti Vandan’. Preparations for this program have begun and online registration of people has also been launched. The Haryana state unit of the organization has planned to enroll over a lakh people for this virtual dialogue with RSS Sarsanghchalak.

Haryana convener Pradip Sharma said that since last some years the HSSF has concentrated on the environment, forest, and biodiversity preservation and protection in the name of ‘Prakriti Vandan’. The main objective of this program is to create awareness among the people for preserving and respecting biodiversity and ecology.

This is an attempt to connect prominent citizens and social activists through this program by reaching out to the maximum number with the message of Dr. Bhagwat. In the run for development, the protection and respect for environment and ecology are diminishing.

Trees are cut randomly and wantonly as there is an emotional disconnect with the environment. This ‘Prakriti Vandan’ program aims to remove this disconnect and instill respect and emotional connection once again to save the environment for future generations.
