The Special CBI court hearing the Babri demolition case is to pronounce its verdict on September 30, 2020. Stalwarts like former deputy prime minister and home minister Lal Krishna Advani, former HRD Minister Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi, Uma Bharati, former UP Chief Minister Kalyan Singh, and Vinay Katiyar were among the accused in this case.

Ansari, who was one of the litigants in the Ayodhya land dispute case, said that the dispute for the Babri has ended long before with the Supreme Court ordering the construction of the Ram Temple.

The apex court gave its orders on November 9, 2019, and now the construction of the Ram Temple has also started. There is no dispute between the Hindus and the Muslims now. This was proved when the Supreme Court order came on November 9, Ansari said.

The demolition of Babri Masjid happened 28 years ago. Some of the accused are alive while some are no more, every time a date is announced for hearing the questions regarding its outcome resurface. We had urged the court to end this matter because such a long time has passed. The matter was being investigated by the CBI. All evidence, arguments are with the court, so they should end it, he added.

Special CBI judge Surendra Kumar Yadav has directed all the 32 accused including former deputy prime minister and home minister L K Advani, former HRD minister Dr. M M Joshi, former UP CM Kalyan Singh, Uma Bharati and Vinay Katiyar to remain present in the court on the day of the judgement.
