NCB seizes mobile phones of Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor

Mumbai, September 28: After questioning Deepika Padukone, Sara Ali Khan, and Shraddha Kapoor for hours in connection with Bollywood's drug probe, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), has seized the cell phones of prominent actresses for further investigation.

Apart from them, NCB has also seized the cell phones of actress Rakul Preet Singh, Simone Khambatta, and Jaya Shah after interrogating them on Friday. NCB will search for clues and more digital evidence of their connection and involvement in the seemingly widespread network of the drug trade in the film industry.
 
NCB interrogated Khan and Kapoor at its zonal office situated in Mumbai's Ballard Estate, while it interrogated Padukone at a guest house in Mumbai' Colaba area for about six hours. Padukone had been confronted by the officials along with her manager Karishma Prakash.
 
Moreover, during the interrogation, the NCB officials had confronted Deepika Padukone with the digital evidence gathered from Jaya Saha’s phone that showed the actor’s chats about procuring ‘maal’ for her. Padukone has reportedly accepted that she had asked for drugs and answered the questions by NCB allegedly in a vague manner - in monosyllabic responses.
 
NCB has arrested Kshitij Ravi Prasad who is the executive producer of Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. The agency has in total arrested at least 18 persons in the ongoing investigations. drug angel has emerged during an investigation into the death of Sushant Singh on June 14. His former girlfriend and actor Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik Chakraborty have been arrested by the NCB in the drugs case.
 
The bureau conducted raids at many places in Mumbai and Goo and arrested drug dealers who allegedly supplied contraband to some of the stars it had interrogated.
