I here by want to underline the fact that regional language and regional identity is strong backbone of Bharat’s unity. Bharat is one civilisation with different cultures and numerous languages. Historically whenever Bharat was invaded by aggressive outsiders they tried to destroy our culture by imposing their language and destroy ours. As ours were a multilingual country it became difficult for the invaders to destroy our languages and impose theirs, however realising this fact British found a unique way of imposing Macauley’s education system and there by systematically imposing English language there by making it a mandatory language for everyone to learn as administrative purpose. Even today our regional languages are big hurdle for Christian missionaries. If you ever happen to visit Nagaland a state which had 90% indigenous Hindu population during 1947 is now a Chritian Majority state with English as mainstream language.

The post independence British supported left ecosystem in India continued the tradition and there by started to attack our regional languages through the policies. Further they created a linguistic divide in South Indian state of Tamil Nadu by creating a fake hatred towards Hindi language. Then started politics of pride and furthermore Nehru sowed the seed of linguistics pride by creating states on the basis of languages instead creating states on the basis of Administrative convenience. States were divided on a linguistic basis. And, Congress party lost power in Tamil Nadu because of the often-violent and vehement protests to the attempt to make Hindi a language in the State. The DMK was at the forefront of the protests and benefitted immensely from its anti-Hindi and anti-North stance. That it has been in alliance with the Congress. DMK's as well as the other Dravidian parties' objection is political. Anti-Hindi, anti-North and, now, anti-Modi are sentiments they can always milk. How many of the present day leaders of the DMK can speak flawless Tamil. Their children and grandchildren have all gone to English medium schools and the most expensive and elitist ones at that. I wouldn't be surprised if they cannot speak Tamil at all.

What have all these Tamil-as-a-superior language protagonists done for the language? Hardly anything at all. If they are serious about propagating the language, they should provide facilities for people to learn the language, not just within the State, but in other States too. Make it easy to learn, have online programmes and talk about the richness of the language and the diversity of the culture.

In 1957, the then sarsanghchalak of RSS, Mr. M. S. Golwalkar was asked by a journalist with regard to National language. The very first question by interviewer was, Which should be our national language? M. S. Golwalkar responded, “I consider all our languages as national languages. They are equally our national heritage. Hindi is one among them which, by virtue of its countrywide usage, has been adopted as the State Language. It will be wrong to describe Hindi alone as the national language and others as provincial languages. That would not be seeing things in the right perspective.” When it comes to the perseverance of regional languages , Golwalkar refers to the cases of Bengali, Tamil, Marathi and Telgu. These flourished even under English hegemony. M. S. Golwalkar emphasised a Fearless Environment in the country. Golwalkar assured, ” With the rise of Hindi these languages will flourish further, and in turn enrich Hindi also.”

The decision of Nehru Government of creating states on basis of language sowed the seed of hatred and even costs many lives. Maharashtra was 1 such state which had to sacrifice 105 lives. Regional languages 1 which was backbone of our unity was now used by our enemies to break India further. Recent controversy involving Shivsena MP Sanjay Raut misusing regional pride and linguistic pride was 1 such example of creating a divide among Indians. Shivsena which started its politics of Marathi pride moved towards Hindutva politics. Shivsena was created by congress to finish communists. However when Shivsena changed its stand towards Hindutva, it was one of the hated party in India, but same Shivsena is now darling of left liberals when they started secular and linguistic politics.

All those who hated Balasaheb Thackeray are in love with his Son. Now this is the reality of today’s Shivsena that it’s is in cohorts with Bharat ke tukde gang. Brainwashed Shivsainiks may not like to hear these facts but there are common pro shivsainiks who are now started to understand these facts. It’s a fact that late Balasaheb Thackeray before invoking any issue ensured that he had backing by his own people and 1 word on the issue by him was their Veda. However time has now changed and people also have changed. Today’s Sena leadership are not getting popular support by their own Marathi speaking people and on contarary Kangana is getting immense support and Facebook posts in Marathi language supporting Kangana has surpassed the number of posts supporting Shivsena.

The linguistic pride politics played by Dravidian parties are known to be Hindu hater and their demand for separate Tamil State is well known. Politics of hatred sowed to divide Hindus in the name of language and castes are basically played by dynasties who are feeling threatened by their political and wealthy kingdom being upsurped. These dynasties just need some issues funded by enemies of Bharat for their political and financial survival. Linguistic differences have created social tensions and marred the social solidarity of the people. This situation poses a grave danger to the unity and integrity of the nation.
