Cardinal Baselios Cleemis and Bishop Barnabas in conversation with Indresh Kumar.

New Delhi, Jan 21: Cardinal Baselios Cleemis, the major archbishop of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church and Bishop Barnabas called on a courtesy visit to senior RSS functionary and patron of Christian Rashtriya Manch and Muslim Rashtriya Manch, at his residence in Delhi on Wednesday.

Cardinal Cleemis was the youngest member of the College of Cardinals of the Catholic Church appointed by Pope Benedict on November 24, 2012. He was accompanied by Bishop Barnabas and other members.

Indresh kumar received and welcomed the guests with a flower bouquet.

The visiting dignitaries discussed various issues pertaining to the Christian community of Bharat. Indresh Kumar suggested giving up the religious fundamentalism. He said we should follow our own religion and respect the religions of the others without criticizing them.

Cardinal Cleemis and Bishop Barnabas agreed to Indresh Kumar’s suggestion. They also discussed the situation arising out of the Corona pandemic and the way Bharat resisted its onslaught.

Meanwhile, Swami Vidyanand and Swami Abhedanand from Uttarakhand also called on Indresh Kumar and discussed with him various issues of national and religious importance.

They agreed that an atmosphere of love, respect and trust could be created in the world by spreading the values cherished by the Sanatana Dharma. This will also help in eliminating the caste based hatred and violence, they felt.
