Uri: The Surgical Strike to re-release in theatres on Republic Day

New Delhi, January 25: To evoke the sense of patriotism among everyone on the occasion of Republic Day 2021, the makers of the movie 'Uri: The Surgical Strike' is re-releasing it in theatres across 29 cities. Taran Adarsh posted this poster of Uri: The Surgical Strike and mentioned in it that the movie will be striking in cinemas with full josh in about 29 cities all over India.

The 29 cities including Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, Noida, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, and Indore, among other places. However, this is not the first time that the film has been brought back to the silver screen after its initial release.
 
 
 
In 2019, the movie, which had initially been released in January, made its way back to the big screens in July where it was screened in 500 theatres across Maharashtra on the occasion of Kargil Diwas.
 
Uri: The Surgical Strike was released in 2019, it became one of the highest-grossing Indian films and also a recipient of several accolades. The film was based on the Indian Army's surgical strikes across the LoC. Uri featured Vicky as a commander, who leads a group of paratroopers in the surgical strikes following terror attacks on the Indian Army camp in Uri in Kashmir.
 
They also won the National Awards in 2019 for background music, for sound design, and then for best director and best actor.
