#R-Day : State-level celebration of Republic Day

New Delhi, January 26: As Indian is celebrating 72nd Republic Day today, Chief Ministers of states including Yogi Adityanath, Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray, and, Ashok Gehlot hoised the national flag at their respective place.

Starting with the economic capital, CM Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray hoisted the national flag at their residence 'Varsha', Mumbai this morning.
 
UP CM Yogi Adityanath unfurls the national flag at his residence in UP. He also greeted the people of the state and the country on the day. He reminisced about the time of the Indian freedom struggle and offered a tribute to the freedom fighters.
 
 
 
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot hoisted the national flag at his residence in the state capital, Jaipur on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day. He later hoisted the tricolor at a ceremony at Badi Chaupar in Jaipur.
 
 
 
The chief minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal also attended the 72nd RepublicDay celebration in Guwahati. Governor Jagdish Mukhi unfurled the Tricolour and addressed the gathering on the occasion. During the celebration, Sarbananda Sonowal presented the Republic Day Journalism Award, 2021 to eminent journalist Shri Atin Das for his contribution to the field.
 
 
 
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has hoisted the tricolor and address the people of the state in the ceremony held in Rewa. He took the salute after the flag hoisting at the SAF Ground in Rewa.
 
 
 
Haryana CM, Manohar Lal Khattar, and Chief Minister, Chhattisgarh, Bhupesh Baghel also celebrate republic day. They also wish the nation a Happy Republic Day.
 
 
 
Greeting the citizen's CM of Punjab Capt. Amarinder Singh said, "Let us take a moment to remember and salute the heroes who made it possible, and to pledge ourselves to upholding the Constitutional principles on which is founded our cherished Republic."
 
 
 
 
Karnataka CM B.S Yediyurappa also hoisted the Tri-Color at his residence.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal greeted people on the 72nd Republic Day. Apart from them, Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit lays a wreath at the War Memorial at Rajaji Salai, in Chennai, on Republic Day
