New Delhi, January 29: Again.. again! One wall and two contrast partitions! However, the protests soon turned violent, as clashes broke out between the agitating Kisans. Delhi Police resorted to lathi-charge and used tear gas shells to disperse the crowd. A policeman was injured by a sword during clashes at Singhu border between Delhi and Haryana, the epicenter of the two-month long farmer protest against three central laws.

Thousands of farmers gathered in Muzaffarnagar to attend a mahapanchayat in support of the Bharatiya Kisan Union which is protesting against the three farm laws in Ghazipur on the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border. Two days after the ruckus witnessed during the Republic Day tractor rally, farmers continued with their protests at various border points in the national capital.

Swords were also seen on Tuesday, when a Republic Day tractor rally of the farmers in Delhi dissolved into chaos after protesters clashed with the police and stormed into the historic Red Fort. The police alleged that one of their comrades was injured in an attack with a sword during clashes at the ITO crossing in Delhi, just opposite the police headquarters.
