'Prophet Mohammed destroyed 360 idols at Kaaba, his followers now following him': Bangladesh author over attacks on Bangladeshi Hindus

Dhaka, Oct 18: Amid the atrocities happening against Hindus in Bangladesh, Taslima Nasreen, acclaimed author from Bangladesh, said that Islamists are following the same path that prophet Mohammed took when he destroyed 360 idols of pre-Islamic Arab Gods at Kaaba.

 

These remarks came after a series of violent attacks are going on in Bangladesh against minority Hindus and are being killed in these attacks amid Durga Puja festival. Nasreen said, "Mohammad destroyed 360 idols of pagans inside Kaaba. His followers have been following in his footsteps."

 

 

Taslima Nasreen also stated that Bangladeshi communists have always supported Jihadists and have turned into "Qawminists". "Qawmi madrasas are the breeding grounds for jihadis. Bangladeshi communists always support jihadis,and justify all jihadi activities only because jihadis are against the common enemy America. Communists are not communists anymore, they have become Qawminists," she said.

 

 

In the latest development, the Hindus, are being attacked in Pirganj and Rangpur. "Attacks on Hindus continue across the country. If this continues, it will be difficult for Hindus to survive in Bangladesh", the Bangladesh Hindu Unity council said in its tweet 7 hours ago. Earlier the week, in yet another scathing attack on the Hindus in Bangladesh, a mob in Naokhali had damaged the ISKCON temple and a person was killed. The official twitter handle sharing the painful incident had demanded justice for this attack on the minority community in Bangladesh.
