Afghanistan engulfed in terror; 12 killed, 32 injured in bomb blast near mosque in Kabul

A Taliban Spokesperson said that the incident took place in the noon in front of the mosque which killed 12 people and as many as 32 have been injured in this violence.

Kabul, October 3: Engulfed with terror and horror, several people were killed in a bomb blast near a mosque in Afghan capital Kabul on Sunday. Speaking about the blast, a Taliban Spokesperson said that the incident took place in the noon in front of the mosque which killed 12 people and as many as 32 have been injured in this violence.

In a tweet shared by Taliban spokesperson Sabihullah Mujahid tweeted that the blast took place near the entrance of the mosque. A spokesman for the Afghan Interior Ministry said three people had been detained in connection with the incident. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of the Edigah Grand Mosque.

As of now, no group has so far taken the responsibility of the blast. Since the time Taliban took over Afghanistan, attacks by ISIL affiliated terrorists have been increasing in the country. These attacks have raised the possibility of major conflict in the near future.
