Goa Govt launched ‘Sarkar Tumchya Dari’ aiming to bring government services closer to citizens

Goa, October 9: Goa Government has started the ‘Sarkar Tumchya Dari’ program aiming to bring the government services and facilities closer to the citizens.

The Goa CM, Pramod Sawant, said, “We have to take ‘Sarkar Tumchya Dari’ programme, also called the ‘Government at Your Doorstep’ program with an aim to take government facilities and services closer to the citizens. We have covered 6 talukas so far under this program in the last 15 days.” He added that the program aims at grievance redressal.
 
 
The CM also said, “Under this, government representatives from all the concerned departments set up their stalls at the site where I visit. Officials address the issue raised by locals regarding the pending appeals and even clear files on the spot.”

As per the CM, the program is to be carried out in more talukas across the state soon, and several issues of the citizens will too, be addressed, like pending applications of the ration cards, Adhar cards, Kisan cards, etc.

Sawant also expressed his confidence in the Bhartiya Janata Party / BJP retaining its power in Goa, in the upcoming assembly elections. The Goa Assembly Elections are scheduled to take place in 2022.
