Ram Mandir emerges as a center of Hindu awakening: Arun Kumar

New Delhi, Dec 13: Those who feel and say that Hindutva is on the wane, should look at the unprecedented massive response elucidated by the “Ram Mandir Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan” from the society, said RSS Sah-Sarkaryawah Arun Kumar while releasing the book “Sab Ke Ram”.

The book is based on the experiences and anecdotes during the 44-day nationwide fund collection drive for the grand Ram Mandir being constructed at Ayodhya – the birthplace of Sri Rama. Releasing the book Arun Kumar described the campaign as historic and unprecedented.

The experiences of the activists engaged in this campaign were really inspiring. The Ramjanmabhumi movement has been the movement of self-realization for the Hindu society, he said and added that with the successful culmination of this movement the Hindu society has realized its strength. The Hindu society became awakened and found a centre of faith in the Ram Mandir.

The entire Ram Mandir movement was not a reactionary movement but it succeeded because of the commitment of the entire Hindu society to it, Arun Kumar said. We are tolerant not because we are weak but because of our bravery, and strength, he said.

Addressing the gathering at the Constitution Club where this book was released, VHP Jt. General Secretary Dr. Surendra Jain said that with the beginning of construction of Ram Temple, the rise of New Bharat has also begun. The journey from Ram Mandir to Ram Rajya has also begun with this, he added. Bharta will become a world leader with the completion of Ram Mandir and the present millennium will be Ram’s Millennium, he added.

He said that we gained political freedom in 1947 but the Ram Mandir movement got us religious and cultural freedom. As many as 13 crore Rambhakts participated in this great mass movement making it bigger than the freedom movement, Dr. Jain said.

The Nidhi Samarpan Abhiyan has become a bridge connecting the entire country cutting across the various barriers which proved that capacity to connect people in India lies in the name of Ram i.e. culture. The secular politics has always disintegrated the society.

VHP Delhi Presidennt Kapil Khanna, Spokesman and Central Publicity Chief Vijay Shankar Tiwari, Prant Mantri Surendra Gupta, Co-author of the book Rajiv Gupta and Publisher Prabhat Kumar were conspicuous by their presence at the book release function.
