
RBI Director Satish Marathe welcoming Sandeep Kumar, IAS and MD, NCDC at Lucknow Airport
Lucknow, Dec 17: Preceding the 7th National Convention of Sahkar Bharati the pioneer organization in the field of cooperative, Sahkar Mela was formally inaugurated on December 16 hereby Sandeep Kumar Nayak, IAS,MD, NCDC.
The products made by Self Help Groups (SHGs), JLCs and women entrepreneurs are displayed at the Sahkar Mela, held at Polytechnic Complex here. Principal Secretary of UP Government Mr. Sehgal was present as guest of honor on the occasion.
The 300-stall Sahkar Mela is being held as part of the 7th National Convention of Sahkar Bharati, said Satish Marathe, Director RBI and former president of Sahkar Bharati.
Meanwhile, Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the three-day 7th National Convention of Sahkar Bharati today evening in presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other dignitaries.
Nearly 5000 delegates drawn from across the country are expected to participate in the event, according to Vivek Jugade, Maharashtra Pradesh General Secretary of the organization. On 18th December former RSS Sarkaryawah Suresh alias Bhayyaji Joshi would be addressing the delegates on the sidelines of the award distribution in memory of late Lakshmanrao Inamdar, the inspiration behind the Sahkar Bharati movement.
National President Ramesh Vaidya, General Secretary Uday Joshi, Organizing Secretary Sanjay Pachpore, RBI Director Satish Marathe are some of the prominent personalities who would be present in the convention and guide the participating delegates on various issues related to cooperative movement in India. A souvenir will also be released on the occasion.
The new national executive will be announced at the conclusion of the national conference on Dec 18.
