PK Anas is a civil police officer from the Karimannoor police station. The CPO was transferred to the Idukki headquarters. However, today, Anas was suspended later on following an internal probe by Kerala Police confirming he had entered into a criminal conspiracy with SDPI.

This development comes after an internal probe found that he had sent contact details, whereabouts, and other sensitive information related to RSS workers to the SDPI activists through WhatsApp.

This matter came to light after, Anas’ phone number was found in the contact list of one of the SDPI activists who attacked a KSRTC conductor, Madhu Sudhan, a Mullaringad resident, for sharing a cartoon of Prophet Mohammed on Facebook. Madhusoodhan was attacked after the vehicle he was traveling in with his children was stopped.
